Meet Kath
Founder & Mortgage Broker, My Mortgage Hacks
Hi, I’m Kath Hack. I started My Mortgage Hacks in 2023 after more than 25 years working across financial services, credit and debt management.
Before becoming a mortgage broker, I held senior leadership roles managing credit and debt portfolios and teams, including managing portfolios on behalf of three of Australia’s four major banks. That background means I understand lending from both sides: how lenders assess applications and how to help clients put themselves in the strongest possible position.

Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking
Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management
Certificate III in Financial Services (Mercantile Agents)
Today, I work directly with first home buyers, refinancers, investors, self-employed borrowers and people looking to restructure or consolidate debt.
My approach is straightforward: explain your options in plain English, build a strategy that suits your circumstances, and help you navigate the process from application through to settlement.

Nelson joined My Mortgage Hacks in September 2026. His responsibilities include supervising Zoomy calls, greeting clients, attracting attention on social media and negotiating the daily treat allowance.
He’s still learning the finer details of home loans, but you’ll see him regularly on our socials in the “Nelson Says” series, helping explain some of the things home buyers and homeowners should know.
